SCWMLS Value

The South Central Wisconsin Multiple Listing Service (SCWMLS) provides its members access to the most comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date database of properties for sale in South Central Wisconsin.

Through this access, over 4,000 members from over 700 real estate firms cooperatively exchange information on properties they have listed for sale. This cooperation assures home sellers the widest possible exposure to prospective buyers, and it provides home buyers easy and complete access to property for sale.

Over 500 public websites, including realtor.com, homes.com, and zillow.com, rely on a constant flow of listing data and photos from the SCWMLS. Without this datastream from the SCWMLS, property searches conducted by visitors to these public websites would result in significantly fewer matches, and much higher instances of inaccurate and out-of-date information.

The SCWMLS provides the following products and services to its members:

Paragon

Our main MLS system platform provides members with an intuitive front-end for listing input, property searches, contact management, CMA, and many other tools used daily by REALTORS® and appraisers.

Paragon Connect

A web application to allow members the ability to perform Paragon tasks on their mobile devices.

CRS Tax Data

Access to public tax and assessment records, general parcel information, GIS/plat maps, FEMA flood zones, and Fiberhomes internet access data all via a tight integration within the Paragon system.

CubiCasa

Scan a property using your mobile phone to create a free floor plan within 24 hours. Load this floorplan as a photo and/or an associated document within Paragon. Take advantage of a 25% member discount on all add-ons, such as adding furniture and rushed delivery.

Forewarn

An easy-to-use safety app that allows you to assess risk by learning about a new prospect prior to meeting them for the first time.

GreenLight

An interactive statistics program that allows you to customize output by region, county, city, zip, property type, or price range to provide real-time charts and graphs.

IDX/Data Feeds

The SCWMLS offers IDX, VOW, and Broker Back Office listing data streams via RETS or RESO api for access by your preferred third-party vendor for your website and/or other software programs.

ShowingTime

Easily schedule showings on listings within Paragon, and manage showings on your listings. Provide and collect feedback on showings.

Statistics

PDFs created for monthly listing statistics by county.

Supra

An electronic keybox system allows showing agents, appraisers, and home inspectors secure and convenient access to listed properties via a smartphone app.

TrustFunds

Set up the ability for buyers to securely transfer earnest money electronically into your trust account.

WIREX

A joint venture between 7 Wisconsin MLSs to share data on almost 90% of the MLS listed properties in Wisconsin. MLSs Participating in WIREX include: Central Wisconsin, Lake Superior, Metro Milwaukee, Northeast Wisconsin, Northwestern Wisconsin, South Central Wisconsin, and Western Wisconsin.

In addition, the MLS Committee and the MLS Board of Directors, who are all members of the SCWMLS, meet monthly to discuss the continually changing marketplace and how our rules can be improved to elevate the SCWMLS member experience. These rules ensure our members have access to the most comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date database of listing information possible, and foster positive experiences for cooperation between members.

SCWMLS staff is easily accessible via phone or email. We are happy to answer questions about MLS rules & procedures, provide product support and training, and help point members in the right direction for guidance on other real estate-related topics.
